Paintings are inspired by my life-long concerns for human-environments intersections, first-hand observations of global warming impacts in the Canadian and Svalbard Arctic Circle, St. Lawrence Seaway and the Ottawa River. I believe my art creates a space for viewers to bring their own interpretations, resonating a sense of uncertainty and loss of place on an intimate level.
