Trees are used as a figurative motif in these diptych panel installations. Their positioning engages the viewer’s imagination to bridge the space in between to perceive the whole, e.g. kinesthetic perception. The painting technique is wet-on-wet using pure pigment applied with a knife. The edges bleed into the wet rag paper creating abstract transparent liminal-like spaces.
